Sues Awesome Finds

Sue's Awesome Finds

Reading a post by Sue on her kickin’ blog Vintage Rescue Squad, I was intrigued with the P.S. she added about bragging.

Sue has been on junking roll lately. She tends to attribute it to luck, but I’d bet my very last dollar that her recent triumphs have more to do with sweat and experience.

Now, I don’t know how long, exactly, Sue has been in the business, but she’s far from a newbie. <Hmmmm. Maybe a Q&A series with successful junkers is in order!> What I do know is that the knowledge of how, where and what to look for is a developed antiquing/junking skill that can only come with time and hard work in the antique dealer business.

So, is she bragging in her posts? I don’t think so. She’s reveling in her much deserved success and readers would be smart to learn from her rather than envy her achievements. That’s my take, anyway.
