Armour Sans Anguish

by Lovely on July 29, 2008

trashion (trash-shon)  n. apparel, wear ables, jewelry and accessories made from trash, garbage or thrown-away materials.

Going green has become a consumer mantra. Not only is it smart business to capitalize on the recycle-reuse movement, it’s the right thing to do for the environment.

Creative Indiepreneur Tawny Holt does it in a most beautiful way.

Established in 2004, all Armour Sans Anguish garments are “constructed entirely from salvaged and recycled materials”.

From fluttery, lacy confections to cuddly soft knits, the incredibly versatile designer works her magic on every one-of-kind creation.

The work is so exquisite that more than one bride has chosen the feminine and romantic apparel for her wedding. How’s that for a vote of confidence?

It’s trash-to-treasure meets haute couture — trashion.  It’s turning green into greenbacks!

A curtsy  to Tawny Holt and Armour Sans Anguish.
